Book 1 (starting point pt. 2).

I found that, to my surprise, I got quite a few positive comments when I posted that short story about the trip to Maui. My best friend said something along the lines of, "it sounds like a story you would have written when you were younger: beach, waves, surfing, cute guy." Ha, not sure if that was a compliment or not, but I'll take it as one!
In my last post, I typed out the 3rd story in the little series I wrote. You guys have to remember that I was 7 or 8 years old when I wrote these stories. Just thought I'd throw that out there, not sure if it's for your benefit or mine! Anyhow, I'm going to go back now and post the 1st book to the series. It's called, "Polly Went To The Zoo With Lots Of Fun." I was in to those long titles I guess. Personally, I don't think that the book is titled very well when you consider the first half of the story. Here goes: Oh wait! For the benefit of you guys reading this, let me just say that I was completely OBSESSED with Zebras when I was little. XD Ok, here goes:


Polly wanted to go camping, so she went to invite her friend Lea. Lea said yes and Polly was very happy that Lea said yes to her question. Polly went to pack up and then they left the house. They were hungry so Lea was cooking hotdogs and marshmallows and after dinner they watched the sun go down and then they went to bed.
*Really, this could have been the second book when you consider that book 3 begins with Polly getting back from a camping trip. I must have really wanted to go camping or something. Seriously, I have no idea why I began the stories the way that I did..*
After Polly and Lea were done camping for two days, they went to the zoo but before they went to the zoo they went home to unpack. 
Polly and Lea love to look at the zebras. After the zebras, Polly and Lea went to go look at the giraffes.  My! What a long neck. Lea and Polly looked at all the animals at the zoo all together there are 60 animals at the zoo. Lea was tired. They saw a candy shop so they went there.
*Because you should TOTALLY go buy candy when you're tired. All that sugar gives you an energy boost!*
Polly bought 3 Lollypops and 1 Hershey bar and 2 Wonder Balls and 2 Reese's Peanut Butter cups and then she left the shop and then went to find Lea and go home.


That's a lot of candy, that's about all I have to say.
I'd just like to point out that I had someone ask to see the pictures I drew to go along with these stories, but come on, I was like, 7 or 8. You really think I'm gonna proudly show you my drawings? Haha, I'm sorry to disappoint, but I opted not to do that.
Again, this is the first story, or Book 1, and last week I posted Book 3. Still have no idea what happened to Book 2, so you can all calm down, I won't be posting ANOTHER story next week! Thanks for reading! ;)
